		<description>I think some of the best free resources for learning languages are from big, quasi-state broadcasters, perhaps for the reason you give (increasing their viewership).  I&#039;ve seen good stuff on the NHK website in Japan, and I there&#039;s a smattering of others in Europe.  I just wish there were Easy Japanese (or what have you) news--about the only language-learner-oriented news I&#039;ve seen has been in English.</description>
