Unfortunately, we'll have to pay it back. Like venture capital, this is no gift. It's just supporting our growth. So everybody who is paing for Babbel helps us to pay our language teachers and translators. And ultimately we hope to be able to pay back the loans. Congratulations! But now you've started charging people. I understand that you are hiring professionals and that the servers do cost, but right now, I see the EU gave you a million euros to develop a product you're making profit with. A fair solution would be if you used that money to finance a Babbel light (like Babbel 1.0) and charge for the extra content or features that cost you extra. One million euros from the EU? Congratulations! But now you’ve started charging people.
